Day 1Arrive Adelaide

Welcome to Adelaide! On arrival at the airport you will make your way to car rental counter at the airport and pick your car. Soak up Adelaide’s Colonial elegance in the spacious green parklands, bustling Adelaide central market and the Museum’s & libraries. Self-drive from airport to accommodation in Adelaide. Check in the hotel and rest of the day is free and easy for you to explore the place. Overnight at hotel in Adelaide. Meals: None

Day 2Adelaide: Excursion to Barossa Valley

Today you may explore on self-drive basis the Barossa Valley famous for its premium wines and fine local cuisine. Experience a few of the 60 cellar doors on a food and wine trail and visit historic, vine-lined chateaus. Buy local art and handicrafts from the many galleries or learn cellar secrets in a wine master class. Taste a Barossa Shiraz or Eden Valley Riesling. Day 3Adelaide – Port August

Today you will check out of the Adelaide hotel and self-drive to Port August. This is the gateway to the rugged Flinders Ranges and South Australian outback. Watch the sun sink behind the hills that once marked the territory of the Nakuma Aboriginal tribe. Check in the hotel and rest of the day is free for you to explore on self-drive basis. You can take a detour Flinders Ranges National Park, where you’ll find mountain ranges, gorges, gum-lined creeks, abundant wildlife and spectacular Wilpena Pound. Walk to its rim orsoar over it on a scenic flight. See Aboriginal rock art sites and old copper mine. Overnight at hotel in Port August. Meals: None

Day 4Port August – Coober Pedy

Today you will check out of the hotel and self-drive to the quirky opal mining town of Coober Pedy. This is the place where locals from across the world live and play underground to escape the searing heat. Visit the underground homes, churches, shops and hotels. Above ground, you can see a grassless golf course, an opal mine, opal fields and an opal cutting demonstration.Don’t miss the moonscape landscapes of Moon Plain, Dog Fence and the Breakaways where Mad Max III was filmed. Check in the hotel and rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel in Coober Pedy. Meals: None

Day 5Coober Pedy – Alice Springs

Today you will check out of the Coober Pedy hotel. Before you proceed to Alice Springs, take a detour to the Painted Desert, an area of spectacular colourful hills formed through 80 million years of erosion. You’ll be spellbound by the colours

– ochre yellow, oxide red, and deep, rich brown – which are particularly vivid in bright sunlight. From here, the journey continues north through grasslands, granite country and over the Finke River to the famed outback town of Alice Springs.

Day 6Alice Springs – Ayers Rock

You will check out and transfer to Ayers Rock today. Check in the hotel. Later in the afternoon visit the 36 immense rock domes of Kata Tjuta. You may take a guided walk into Walpa Gorge and marvel at the sheer walls that flank you as you enter the gorge. Join a walk into Walpa Gorge, where some of the plants are so rare that they are only found in and around these distinct sandstone formations. Travel to sunset strip where you will enjoy and admire the spectacular display oflight and color as you watch an Uluru sunset. Overnight at hotel in Ayers Rock. Meals: None

Day 7Ayers Rock

Rise early to see Uluru at sunrise from the viewing area of Talinguru Nyakunytjaku and feel the spiritual heart of the Australian Outback.After watching the sun rise, travel to Uluru to tour around the base. Walk to Mutitjulu waterhole, see ancient rock art and hear stories of Aboriginal legends. Discover the history and culture with a visit to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and see traditional arts and crafts on display. Rest of the evening is free and easy. Day 8Ayer Rock – Kings Canyon

Travel on to Kings Canyon, the crowning feature of rugged Watarrka National Park. Climb to the canyon’s rim for sweeping views of the sheer sandstone cliffs, palm-filled crevices, valley floor and desert. Swim in the tropical pools of the Garden of Eden and explore the weathered rock domes of the Lost City. See the sunset and rest at the hotel. Overnight at hotel in King Canyon. Meals: None

Day 9King Canyon – Alice Spring

Today you will drive back in Alice Springs, check out the world’s largest open air classroom. Climb to the top of Anzac Hill for expansive views over the town. Then explore the plants, animals and habitats of the Central Australian Desert in the Alice Springs Desert Park. You would even race through red dunes on a quad bike. Relax with a round of golf. A great way to end the day in Alice is with an Aussie bush feast. Overnight at hotel in Alice Springs. Meals: None

Day 10Alice Spring – Tennant Creek

You will check out and head north from Alice Spring. On your way you will see fine table grapes and sparkling mango wine produced by visionary outback farmers. Travel further to Wycliffe, a town famous for its documented UFO sightings. The road to Tennant Creek takes you past the Devils Marbles.According to Aboriginal mythology, these huge, finely balanced boulders are the eggs of the Rainbow Serpent. To know more visit Nyinkka Nyunyu Culture Centre in Tenant Creek. Explore the town. Overnight at hotel in Tennant Creek. Meals: None

Day 11Tennant Creek – Daly Water

You will check out and travel North of Tennant Creek you’ll find the Elliott and Newcastle Waters Discovery Trail. This scenic network of roads branch off the main highway to huge cattle stations, outback pubs filled with characters and World War II landmarks. Travel to Daly Waters, a tiny hamlet built around the Territory’s oldest pub. Check in the hotel and rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel in Daly Water.

Day 12Daly Water – Darwin

Today you will begin your journey to Darwin. You will travel to Katherine, enjoy white sandy beaches by foot, canoe, boat cruise or on a scenic helicopter flight. Continue on to the World War II township of Adelaide River . Enjoy your first glimpse of the Timor Sea as you follow the Stuart Highway into the heart of Darwin. Then explore the region’s dramatic history – from World Way II air raids to Cyclone Tracey – in the museums and galleries. Check in the hotel and rest of the

Day 13 Darwin: Day at Leisure

Today the whole day is free and easy for you to explore the place on your own. You can travel through history at the Darwin Military Museum. Enjoy the interactive, multimedia Defence of Darwin Experience, which includes a multi-sensory theatre depicting the bombing of Darwin in February 1942.Darwin has nine World War II military heritage sites to explore. OR Cruise the Mary River Wetlands from Darwin. Take two-and-a-half-hour cruise of the Mary River Wetlands, home to the largest concentration of saltwater crocodiles in the world. Day 14 Darwin: Day at Leisure

Today the whole day is free and easy for you to explore the place on your own. Explore the Territory Wildlife Park in Berry Springs. Discover the incredible variety of wildlife in the Top End. The Territory Wildlife Park, a 45-minute drive south of Darwin, is the place to see dingos and more. A walk-through aviary, nocturnal house, goose lagoon, aquarium, billabong and monsoon forest walk. OR Go Birdwatching in the Mangroves. This half-day tour that takes in a monsoon forest,rocky coastline, savannah woodland and a two-kilometre walk through mangroves and along a boardwalk to the mudflats. Day 15 Depart – Darwin

Today you will check out of the hotel and self-drive to airport for the fight back home.
