Day 1Arrive London: City tour

Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Begin your discovery of London with a city Hop on Hop off tour conducted on the original London Double Decker bus. The London tour offers sightseeing routes that cover all the main sights in Central London with live commentary and another route that covers all the museums. Also included in your tour are the free walks and cruise on the River Thames. The major sights include Change of Guards at Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, The London Eye, Downing Street, St. Pauls Cathedral The Tower of London, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus. During your tour you can also visit London’s most famous attractions, such as Madame Tussauds, where you can have your photos taken with the celebrities or the Tower of London, where you can see the Crown Jewels including the Kohinoor. Upgrade your experience to the breathtaking views of the city on one of London’s most popular attractions “The London Eye.” In the evening, take yourself up to Leicester Square in the heart of London, where there’s plenty to see and do – including cinemas,restaurants, clubs and everything else that makes London such a vibrant city. Day 2London: Visit to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath

Post breakfast you proceed on a tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath – England’s most beautiful Georgian city. This tour includes entrance to Windsor Castle, the home of the Royal Family for 900 years, and the world’s largest and oldest occupied castle. Windsor Castle’s fortified walls dominate the delightful town that has grown up around it over the years. You will see the lavishly decorated State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel, travelling further through the rolling green Wiltshire landscape to Stonehenge, where a collection of stones dragged to this lonely plain near Salisbury 5,000 years ago set in a landscape dotted with prehistoric mounds and carvings, Stonehenge continues to enthral the imagination and captivate the heart of every visitor. Day 3London: Oxford visit- Optional or day at leisure

After breakfast you can explore more of London on your own or take an optional visit to Oxford, Follow in the footsteps of Oxford’s famous students, from C.S. Lewis to Bill Clinton, as you stroll the captivating college courtyards and cobbled lanes of this historic university town. Take in the famous ‘dreaming spires’ and see the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe , on your visit. You’ll be captivated by the unspoilt narrow alleys and ancient squares of this naturally beautiful town.A treat for moviegoers of all ages, Christ Church is instantly recognisable as one of the major locations for the Harry Potter films! Marvel at the magical grandeur of the Great Hall, used as the setting for Hogwash.Visit the elegant city of Cambridge, well known as the home of the University of Cambridge, which includes the renowned Cavendish Laboratory, Kings College Chapel, and the Cambridge University Library. Day 4London – Edinburgh: City tour

Enjoy your breakfast and transfer by early morning train to Edinburgh. Upon arrival in Edinburgh transfer to the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day exploring the city on Hop on Hop off tour with the live commentary. Edinburgh has been the Capital of Scotland since the 15th Century and stands proudly on seven hills creating the dramatic skyline of this lively cosmopolitan city. Compare Edinburgh’s Old Town, to the elegant Georgian New Town with its three main streets and a square at either end. Hear about the hangings that took place in the Grass market as you marvel at the impenetrable Castle Rock above you and hear about the attempts to capture Edinburgh Castle. Tour highlights include the Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holy rood House, the historic Royal Mile and Our Dynamic Earth. Day 5Edinburgh: Excursion to Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Scottish Highlands

After breakfast you will have an option to take a tour to Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Scottish Highlands, covering the magnificent beauty of Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, the Great Glen, Loch Ness and Pitlochry. Leaving Edinburgh, you’ll pass Linlithgow Palace (birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots), Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument, to reach the most dramatic of all Highland glens, Glencoe. This area is steeped in history, and you will hear the truth about the infamous 1692massacre of Clan MacDonald. Journeying through Fort William, site of the military post built during the Jacobite Rebellions in the 18th century, you’ll continue up the Great Glen, between Fort William and Inverness. On the way back, you’ll stop at Spean Bridge before heading through the Cairngorms National Park, Craig Meagaidh and along the shores of Loch Laggan, where the TV series Monarch of the Glen was filmed. Continuing over the Drummochter Summit, where herds of red deer often graze, you’ll visit the Victorian town of Pitlochry. Overnight at the hotel (B)

Day 6Edinburgh: Back Home

After breakfast take your private transfer to the airport / station to return to London or your onward destination (B)
